The Heron Group LLC is a woman-run small business built from our family’s shared love of art, design, and storytelling. Managed by Melissa LaPosta, the company operates as a creative studio and umbrella for several independent brands. Each one stands fully on its own, yet all are united through shared values and a common home. Each brand reflects the voice of its creator:

Otter Designs

Playful, bright, and full of Melissa’s creative spark. This line transforms her illustrations and design work into art that celebrates joy, humor, and color.

Nature-inspired and quietly reflective. This is where Elwyn’s hand-drawn and painted works find their home, shaped by forest light, natural textures, and calm.

Created by Paul, this is the mythic branch of our work. It explores symbolism, identity, and transformation through visual design and story, blending art with philosophy and deeper meaning.

Also founded by Paul, this is the professional and technical side of our creative world. It includes the Crafting Conflict series and our work in creative leadership, digital systems, and business design.

We work independently within our brands, aligning only around our shared store and collective goals. Every product begins as original work and is produced through trusted partners such as Printful and Printify. We stay intentionally small to preserve creative freedom, uphold quality, and maintain the integrity of what we make.
